The book was written with the pandemic in mind, as the pair had to transition to virtual coaching and teaching due to the pandemic. They sought to understand the brain research behind why people feel so tired after a day of Zoom calls and why it’s so different to be in a little digital box. Their book covers how to lead and coach in the remote environment, something a lot of people struggled with early on. They discussed how Google Meet and other virtual platforms were just starting to catch on as organizations transitioned to remote work. <\/p>\n
